Hp hasn't let me down yet! I use their HP67XL black ink cartridges which lost me long time unfortunately drys up if i don't use it. We have 2 printers, both hp, but different models. We love them both. My daughter uses hers for school a lot and I use mine for printing photos and whatever else. These cartridges last a good while. Yes, they seem really pricey, but ink is always pricey and I never regret paying the amount for good ink.
